BaZi – An Established System of Destiny Reading

BaZi is one of the most established system of life destiny reading as it has accumulated thousands of years of wisdom and researches by numerous generations of metaphysics scholars and researchers.

Commonly referred to by the shortened terms, “Four Pillars” or BaZi, a frequently used alternate phrase is “Four Pillars of your birth time”. It is called BaZi (八字), Eight Characters, because each of the four pillars (representing the year, month, day, and hour of one’s birth, respectively) is represented by two characters; one character for a “Heavenly Stem” and one character for an “Earthly Branch”. There are 10 Heavenly Stems (天干, Tiān Gān) and 12 Earthly Branches (地支, Dì Zhī).

 

BaZi Reading

The study of BaZi can go very deep and very wide. There are a number of schools of BaZi, each having its roots in various dynasties in Chinese History. Each school of knowledge has their own strengths and weaknesses and there isn’t a best school of knowledge. It is often easy to get lost in the study of BaZi due to the rich records of written materials available on this subject.

BaZi reading provides one with understanding about one’s character, the strengths and potential pitfalls, and the luck cycles. With such insights into your destiny,  you will be able to plan your life accordingly, knowing when to be aggressive in your business and investments expansions and knowing when to withdraw and conserve your resources.

 

Luck Cycle

Besides deeper understanding about yourself, understanding your luck cycle is the next most important thing to do. In our experiences when dealing with people from all walks of life, we realize that people in low luck cycle often are not able to attract good opportunities and they often make wrong decisions which may be detrimental to their well being.

For example, a person who is transiting from a high luck cycle into a lower luck cycle, they will tend to make decisions to shift house or office and the next house or office they attract will be one of bad fengshui, which supports their destiny. On the other hand, when a person who is transiting from lower luck cycle to a higher one, he will tend to attract and select houses or offices with naturally good fengshui factors, which will naturally support his coming successes.

That is why we often encourage our clients to at least get a BaZi Reading to understand their luck cycle, where they are in their luck in comparison for their whole life time.
